You do know they made V6 Camaros back in the day as well, right?

Not all Camaros are equal, both modern and classic.

While you're entitled to your opinion, there is no logical reason for it

A jeep doesn't seem like a mid life crisis vehicle to me. Fix one up

I'm 33, single, make good money, just bought a nice truck, about to build a house and I'm slaying puss. I'm in a crisis right now. A mid life crisis.

Anyone can afford a jeep. It's the price of a another jeep that you have to put into it to make it worth a damn that gets you. Unless you're just going to drive it to the mall...

If you've got two in diapers you're not going to be able to afford in in 5-10 years either. You're looking at more 20 years if you're lucky.

Do you any clue what that car is capable of? You seem pretty clueless.
Yes. And of all those things 90% of owners won't utilize. They aren't buying it for speed or power, they are buying it for attention because they are getting old and are less noticeable. Hence a mid-life crisis

Well very few if any vehicles get more attention than a classic muscle car, so wouldn't it by your own definition be a midlife crisis car?

I'm gonna need you to walk me through that, because I vehemently disagree with your interpretation.

They're buying them because they can afford to

I never said that told and new camaros were equal. Which is what you just implied. Your point about muscle cars getting more attention is correct in that they will catch more attention. But muscle cars take more work that just paying for it and taking it to a chevy dealership to get things fixed and touched up.

Taking care of muscle cars develop more of an attachment from owner to car because of the amount of work you have to put forth to own and operate one. Muscle cars are more of personal project with a reward than just buying a new, moderately nice sports car so the sole reason of seeking attention

Does that make any sense?

That's not what I implied at all.

You think everyone that owns a muscle car wrenches on it themselves? And even if they did, what does that have to do with whether it qualifies as a midlife crisis car?

Who says you can't get attached to a new vehicle that you perform the maintenance on? I love my 2012 truck, wash and wax it all the time, general upkeep, etc.

How do you know the sole reason people buy new sports cars?

I meant this is what you implied I was saying. Poor phrasing

because they would be owning it for reasons other than trying to show off. I really don't understand how you haven't grasped that point yet

It is a truck. You have many more uses for it. I'm talking about sports cars, more specifically poor man's sports cars.

Well they aren't buying them for racing or practical reasons such as utility vehicles. WTF else are they for

I mean at this point you're just splitting hairs
