I was also pretty drunk and with a pretty good group of people. But being that I see a ton of live acts while working at varsity they had TS rocking
yeah, it was a great time to be with friends and tons of hot tail running around. its just cool to hate on new country on here because they sing about partying and chasing tail instead of their dog dying

Pop music has become generic, sound-alike music because the stations, now that they are all owned by large corporations, want things simple and profitable. Radio is not allowed to have a personality anymore, therefore the music on the radio can't either. Teenagers really don't get the concept of what most of us on this board consider "good music." They want simple tunes with simple lyrics that they understand. That goes for country, pop, hip-hop, etc. Their money goes that way, so musicians will too.
Bottom line is if you want to set yourself and your family up for life by playing music, you have to play music that is played on the radio. FGL have nailed that formula and should never have to worry about a bar gig to pay a bill ever again. Kudos to them for taking full advantage of the system. Think what you want about their music, but you certainly can't blame them for playing or writing what they do.

Nothing wrong at all with hanging out with friends and seeing all of the beautiful women running around. I've been to Bayou Fest a few times myself and have enjoyed those things. Had a great time but I also thought the music was mostly hideous. The tailgating atmosphere outside of the stadium was way more fun than the actual concert istelf.

But those guys put on a hell of a show Saturday night. All of their music is commercial nonsense, but they were entertaining as hell.
I'm curious as to what was so entertaining about two posers jumping around in Affliction wife beaters "rapping" with fake country accents? Was it the BMX racers and the fireworks?

I thought it was a an awesome show. I don't care for their music, but it had the ladies jumping.. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconPimp.gif)

When I think of "country music", I don't think about Lil Wayne and Drake on an ipod thumping some subs while turning a flat bill hat around backwards.
But hey maybe that's just me.
