Did I just pull a dick move?(about my apartment's laundry facilities) UPDATE

So my apartment building has 12 units and the laundry room on the 2nd floor has 2 washers and 2 dryers. I decided to wake up at 7:00 this morning to use the laundry room before everyone else.
Well I get in there and the 2 washers are empty, but the 2 dryers are in use. I put my clothes in the washers hoping by the time the 30 minute wash was done, the person using the dryer had their stuff out.
Wash is done, I go up to the laundry room, dryers still full. I was like OK, I will go run for 30 minutes, and come back and hope its out then.
Come back 30 minutes later, still in there. I gave them an hour, and they still haven't taken it out. There is a sign in the room that says "PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE AND REMOVE YOUR LAUNDRY AS SOON AS THE CYCLE IS DONE". Well I gave them an hour, so I took all their clothes out of the dryer and put it in the basket on the floor.
I have better things to do today than wait for someone to get their clothes out of the dryer so I can put my own stuff in. I just hope they don't get mad and take it out on me.

You're good. I would have probably moved the clothes after 30 min.

How do you know it's the same person baw?

Good IMO. When I lived in dorm rooms ppl left their clothes in the dryers for hours like if they were at home. Some students would take them out and leave them ontop the dryers, socks falling out and everything lol.

just wait until you get back to your clothes and they are soaked in piss.

Dick move, now they will all be wrinkled. You should have been considerate and folded them.

You should have folded their clothes and then you would have been alright

Appropriate move. They should mind the rules and get their shite out of the dryer when it is done. Rest easy my friend, you aren't a dick.

You're not a dick, but that doesn't mean they won't think you are. Inconsiderate people are self absorbed and think only of themselves. I'd at least go check on my stuff every 10 minutes. People are assholes and may retaliate.

Poor people problems

You should have ironed them and hung them up.
Posted on 5/26/14 at 9:20 am to goldennugget
You should have pissed on them.

I live in a place where 5 units share one set. If I'm using the washer and there are clothes that are done in the dryer when I need it, I just take them out and put them on top of the dryer.
I haven't had any complaints, it's more of a dick move to leave your clothes in the dryer after they are complete.

I couldn't touch someone's laundry, to personal

Well they retaliated, they turned the heat nob down to "no heat" so when I went to get my clothes they weren't even dry. Had to waste another $2 in change to run the cycle again

You put it in a basket -- You're good
You put them in a wastebasket -- Dick Move

Just hang around the laundry room to ensure no dumps are taken on your clothes

I did that all the time at my dorm, just pile peoples stuff on top of the dryer. These days i would probably try to neatly stack them
