Why? She agreed to everything and was paid for it. She knew the risk and made the decision to do it. I am sure she signed some waivers too.

If he gives into just one frivolous lawsuit then he opens himself up to even more trolls going forward.

Was he a trained stuntman? Was she a trained stuntwoman? What safety procedures were in place? Did anyone there have experience in this sort of thing? This wasn't horseplay it was done in the course of her work, and it seems half-assed at best, and grossly negligent at worst.

This Bilzerian guy had better be thankful he's just getting sued for a broken foot instead of facing manslaughter charges.

Shouldn't even have to be a lawsuit.

If he were that awesome he would make sure she is taken care of. 85 grand is pocket change to him.

Then she is even dumber for agreeing to it.

Seems to me if this guy had such an ironclad defense, he wouldn't be resorting to bluster. What's the old saying, "if the law is on your side, pound the law. If the facts are on your side, pound the facts. If neither is on your side, pound the table."

Never heard of him before now, but he and his lawyer sound like douchetards.

This. I believe Dan loses this case.

That's the way trolls work though. They find out you are willing to settle outside of litigation then they all pile onto you for any little thing.

No matter how rich I was, I would fight every claim that came my way whether I was responsible or not just to keep trolls at bay.

Don't blame it on him but blame it on the shady lawyers that actually take those type of cases.

Did she agree to it beforehand? Was there some sort of waiver signed?

It's implied here that Griffith intends to sue Hustler, but whether this letter blusters her out of adding Bilzerian to the lawsuit remains to be seen.

It was for a Hustler photo shoot.

Seems like it was their idea.

And he very well may have if she hadn't thrown a frivolous lawsuit at him. She's being a shameless opportunist suing for 85k from a broken foot. Doesn't deserve anything now.

Why? Is she not an adult who is capable of making her own decisions? Seems to me she willingly and voluntarily agreed to take part in a dangerous activity.

not defending her, but she's a porn star, 18, and agreed to let a guy throw her off a roof, naked.

While within the law, she may be capable of making her own decisions, it's probably best that she does not.

You threw a porn star off a building, what the frick did you think was going to happen.

The lawsuit is stupid, but that's what you get for hanging around people who get DP'd as a profession.
