Critically - I'd agree. Popularity has to count for something though, so I feel like something along the lines of Guns n Roses would be more appropriate. They were at the tail end of the decade though.

Nah, I actually almost said I think they're vastly under appreciated because nobody can understand the lyrics. I've seen 100's of concerts, including Pink Floyd and the Rolling Stones, and the 2 times I've seen them are the best 2 concerts I've ever seen.

Hard to argue against this. What a fricking decade, with Bowie, Led Zeppelin, The Who, The Rolling Stones, and Pink Floyd all at the peak of their powers. Also have The Grateful Dead on the road.
60s was obviously awesome too, but the live concert became so much better in the 70s both acoustically and visually.

Thats awesome. Hung out there a bit when I was in town the first weekend. Strangest bouncer ever. Dude was serious about people being quiet.
