Eh Radiohead is great to only their fanbase. They have a huge following but outside of that nobody really cares about them. Except for the die-hards, the will only be remembered for Creep

I just don't get why someone would think Arcade Fire is "terrible"

They could just not like it, sure, I get it, everyone has different tastes. But terrible?

Their sound is far too immediate and well-done to be "terrible. That's just a thing a snob that has heard two songs by a band and makes a sweeping generalization about them would say.

he's trolling you bruh

No. There are plenty of bands that people don't particularly listen to but still acknowledge their superiority

Obviously you don't think that because it wiggles whenever you listen to High and Dry. But that's the truth. Besides their big fans, not a lot of people acknowledge their greatness and will be known for Creep.

Radiohead is exponentially better than modest mouse in studio and live.

You clearly missed my point but I'm not surprised. I never said Radiohead sucked. I don't listen to them and have not seen them but I don't think they are a bad band.

I'd take MM in a heartbeat, although I do like Radiohead a lot. This is all opinion though, you can't really say one is objectively better than the other.

Lots of people don't like classic rock bands but everyone knows the greatness of Zep, Stones, etc.

I don't really like RHCP but I acknowledge that they are the most influential band of the 90's.

And so on

Agreed, and I love them both.

I don't think I've ever listened to Arcade Fire.

One band I thought would get bigger after their first album was Heartless Bastards. Their first album is incredible, but the rest have just been okay.

anyone that saw that modest mouse show last night and has seen radiohead would say radiohead is exponentially better. Modest mouse live is very punk rock like with little change in key or melody. Just playing random shitty chords and screaming into the mic like drunk crazy idiot. Radiohead also has visualz brah.
