This isn't a "I'm coming here to bitch about my life" thread. I didn't just have to nag my husband about something. And it's not like he's the only man in the world that gets nagged. It was a legitimate question. I'm pretty sure my husband falls into the completely and utterly absent minded group.
And yes, I did.
And yes, I did.

If I had to guess, he's deriving his self worth from backchanneling with chicks who haven't seen his picture yet.

You're gonna nag him right to the strip club, or worse, the court house, if you keep it up

If your husband is like me he has about 6 months worth of stuff he could be doing and he knows it.
So even though he has put in however many hours he has at work and cut the grass and done whatever else, sometimes he just wants to sit there.
The few moments that he gets to sit there isn't as important right at that moment as the task you wish him to do.
As for me, if I get up and start working I'm not going to stop all day.

Not even! I just got through sending a woman packing because of that exact thing. I am well educated and considered by my professional peers to be fairly intelligent, so I am hardly some "bubba". I generally take care of business. Consequently, someone starts bitching and nagging at me when I come home from work and makes a habit if it, they are going to get shown the door. I put up with that for the sake of the kids for 20+ years before divorcing. No more. I now have the freedom to choose who stays in my home as well as who goes. Trust me, someone else will be filling her shoes within three months.
If you don't like dumb and stupid, don't marry or co-habitate with that kind of person.
Equal rights includes equal responsibility. It supposed to be a partnership. I do my best not to choose someone to live with who is unable or unwilling to handle those terms.

Men don't respect women who cannot take care of themselves

There is a very simple way to not be nagged, just do the task your partner has asked of you, if you can't, give some reason why you can't instead of saying, "yeah, yeah, I'll do it"
if I did everything the wife asked, I would spend 24x7 doing shite, often times to just to be asked to undo what I just did.

Simple way to avoid nagging???
Crazy talk.
One completed task simply opens the door to another.
Why not ask why the partner simply doesn't comply with what you have asked when you ask the partner to kindly frick off after the partner has attempted to task you with something the partner wants you to do?
There is another very simply way to avoid nagging - just don't do it.

ask once, and wait for it to get done. There is a time window where you can't do something you were asked/told because then it's "well you only did it because I told you to". Every time we're asked to do something that window of time resets.
Very true.

I think women enjoy nagging more than they enjoy having things done for them.
Most women would not be with a man for very long if he sat there and waited to be told what to do and then hopped to it like a service dog.

If I ask you to separate the laundry when you put it in the baskets, how difficult is that? It makes my life so much easier.
It's such a difficult task that removing it makes your life so much easier. You know what makes his life so much easier? You not bitching about insignificant bullshite. Is that so difficult?

That is a very true statement.

You know what makes his life so much easier?
Washing his clothes, cleaning his house, fixing his meals, raising his children, keeping myself in a reasonably attractive state? You're telling me he can't put his socks and underwear in one basket and his nice clothes in another basket? I know it's super hard and requires a shite ton of brain power.
