Should I sell one gun to buy another?

Ive been thinking about this a while now and started a thread on it about what type of shotgun to get for duck hunting. I have a Saiga AK-47 loaded out w about 4k rounds just sitting in the closet. I've shot it twice, was more of an impulse buy. I know ill get more use out of a shotgun. Im thinking I can sell this one and buying a really nice shotgun and pocketing any cash left over. Thoughts?

You've got an AK47? I'll need your address and when you leave for work, if you don't mind.

How much you want for the AK? I have a few nice shotguns if you would want to make a trade.

Just dont know if it would be a smart decision or just leave it alone and save up for the shotgun. The bumpfire stock is really cool too!

I would hold onto it for the zombie apocalypse.

If u want the gun you're buying more than the one you have why not? Only live once

That's the only forgivable reason to sell a gun.

I've traded a fun guns to buy others. In just about every case, I've regretted it.

I swapped two last year.
Have gotten 10x use out of the new ones, and despite a ton of sentiment associated with one I traded, I don't regret it.

I have a rule in my house, never get rid of a gun for any reason. I traded a S&W airweight for a kimber 1911 on an impulse deal, and while I came out ahead on the deal, I still get pissed off at myself for not just buying the damn 1911 from tne guy. Now I gotta go buy another airweight, cause a really liked that gun

Mama Coastie seems to think so, but she legitimately has a pussy (and a mighty fine one).
Has yet to happen.

never sell a gun unless you really need the money...if you can afford the new gun without selling the old then by all means do so...
