6-7 hours. Why wouldn't you fly anywhere longer?

I have driven 13 BR to Orlando. But every summer used to ride 18-19 from BR to Jensen Beach, FL to grandma's.

New Orleans to Amarillo, TX

Was awful...return trip had to stop in some bumfrick LA town because I couldn't stay awake.

It's on the far side of Texas if you don't know where. That's a big freaking state

Austin to Destin, or Dallas to Atlanta.

Both were miserable and left me inches away from setting the car on fire.

Drove to Omaha back in '01. Or was it 2000... whatever. I remember it was after we beat FSU to make the championship game, the wife said "we should go..." So we left... at 1100pm, no tickets and no hotel. Awesome trip... long drive.

not really a car trip but i took a megabus from New Orleans-houston (met with gf and traveled to)-dfw-sfo-Beijing-Bangkok then took a bus from Bangkok to Siem Reap, Cambodia (about 8-9 hours). All in all, 66 hours of travel from point of origination in NOLA.

but watching sunset at Angkor Wat was amazing and worth all of that travel

but if that doesn't count, New orleans to Las Vegas. took 6 days bc we stopped in dallas to visit family, santa fe/taos for 2 days, grand canyon for 2 days

my family from italy came in and wanted to do a road trip to see the backbone of america ....my uncle slept the majority of the way :banghead: when we could have just flown

Without stopping somewhere to sleep? Me and a buddy left at around midnight on Xmas from Baton Rouge and traded off driving while the other napped for 6 hour shifts and got into Washington, D.C. at 8 pm 18 hours later. Still don't know how we pulled that one off.

Flagstaff to LA to pick up a buddy, and then from there to Baton Rouge. Lots of hours. Lots. 32 I think. Add in the Orange County rush hour. I drove the whole way. My friend is a shitty driver (he burned my clutch out once after borrowing the car for the weekend).

I used to work a week on/week off job in Flagstaff and had a girlfriend and family in Baton Rouge - so the 22 hour drive to or from Flag in one go was pretty frequent.

Nonstop, Gulf Shores to Shreveport. 8.5 hours I think.

longest overall, Shreveport back to Montana, solo. Shreve to BFE Kansas the first day, BFE to Bozeman the second day. Second leg was 16 hours

From Jackson Wyoming to New Orleans in a Lincoln Town Car after our RV caught on fire at a vacation in Yellowstone.

Fun times.

Longest I've driven was Denver to NOLA personally.

Usually anything longer than 12 hours and I fly.

Driven Richmond to New Orleans (or vice versa) solo many times, only stopping for gas. 1,005 miles one way. 16 hours.

Done multiple 24+ hour trips with a second driver. It's really not that bad if you have someone to switch off with...y'all complain a lot.
