I say MIP because in order for AD to win the MVP I think that we would have to be a top 4 seed. I think if we are 5-8 seed AD would be a great candidate for MIP award. If we can make some good moves this offseason, we are 2 years out from being a top 4 seed. Maybe by then Davis will seriously contend for the MVP award.

There's no possible way he wins MIP after this season. I've never seen a player who post elite stats like he did this year prior and win MIP the following year. He made a jump in almost every single stat this past season and if they didn't give him MIP then, he's never going to get it.
MVP is the next logical step. He'll get into the conversation next season and will contend for it 1 season from now.
BTW: I don't believe most MVP winner ever won the MIP award. Those award generally go to players who will never win an MVP award.
