Dudy Noble is a dump.
For an engineering school, the layout of the bleachers with relation to the grandstand is very poor. There are actually spots in the RF bleachers where you can't see the plate at all. And all that crap around the outfield fence, while conducive to a party atmosphere, looks trashy as hell.

I agree. Also beyond MSU's outfield fence looks like a junkyard. One that isn't kept up at that. Those old wrecks, homemade bleachers in detached truck beds, and whatever else they can drag out there and attach seats to is laughable

No. State has been trying to be like us or better us in any way for years. I'm from MS and see it and hear all about it. Keep it the way it is and let the rings and 8 year winning streak do the talking. They are titleless and reaching for something they can claim to be the "best" in so let them have it.

Crowds at the Box this weekend have been absolutely pathetic. It's almost as if after the Florida series half the fans said F it.

We can laugh at State and DNF all we want. But I know that the athletic department and LSU baseball in particular would love a paying crowd of 15k+.
As far as the makeshift bleacher and tailgating structures, there is better available...

Personally, I don't care for thousands of "casual fans" who are at the game for the party atmosphere rather than for the game, itself. I prefer fans who are into the game enough to pay attention to what's going on in the game and make noise when it is warranted.

THIS! Fans that cheer good baseball and even clap for the other team if they make a diving catch or spectacular play. (Long as its not a game winner or hurts LSU)

I have to give some credit to those Moo State fans. Drawing that kind of crowd the weekend after we swept and demoralized them is impressive.
But that said, for everybody complaining about the crowds at Alex Box, it's not like there have ever actually been 15,000 people at Dudy Noble. MSU fans lie to themselves and pretend like that's the actual attendance, but it's not. They never announce the actual attendance.
It's cool that they got a good turnout because it's a rivalry game, but 9 out 10 weekends, their paid and actual attendance don't live up to what we get at the Box.
As far as additions to Alex Box, a bern would be nice, but those rinky-dink temporary bleachers they park along fence in Starkville just look dangerous and I wouldn't go near them.

Why would Arkansas expand football? They can't sell out now? Can there possibly be anything worse than being a Hog fan knowing that you have no shot to win anything other than a track meet. They need to spend money on facilities so something gives them a shot at players since the W's and L's are bringing in the 5 stars!

There are not "actual attendance" leaders anywhere because most schools don't report it. The only thing we officially lead is "paid". So you made that up.

Alex Box is the premier amateur baseball atmosphere. The only thing I want us to change is the intimidater. It needs to have "2014" listed.
