I went to one once only because the guys' only job was to drink outside and flip burgers on grill. Not a bad scheme.

so you are planning on going?

You need to tell all the men going not to go...you're fricking it up for men down the line

Keep thinking.

There's still hope for your male hormones to kick in.

Maybe.

I threw one like this one time. I had beer outside for the men so they stayed out there the entire time...drinking, spitting, throwing rocks, etc.

Chicks dig a dude that shows up at a baby shower, especially if you bring a solid gift. It's unprecedented off the chart stuff.

Now a married dude at a baby shower? Well, that's just sad.

Nothing provides more dumb drama than girls hosting a shower. One bitches about money, others bitch about location, all for a girl they likely see 4 times a year.

Showers annoy the shite out of me when I'm not directly involved, I definitely wouldn't attend them.

Who scheduled you to go?? Despite what populare culture on TV and movies will tell you, you don't have to do what your wife tells you. Just tell her no.

The only time I ever go to a couples shower is when crawfish and kegs are involved.

Here's what happens at those: the ladies dotheir thing and the guys sit around, drink beer, and talk guy stuff.

It's no big deal really.
