By don't need, do you mean you have enough already or you bought a caliber for a gun you don't have?

your money, do what you want with it. now, if you stood out front of academy so you could rush in and buy them out of .22 so you could turn around and gouge someone, then shame on you. otherwise, .

I went to Wal-Mart on College Drive this morning before work with the hopes of picking up a box of 22LR. The guy working in sporting goods told me that they had gotten a large load of 22 ammo yesterday morning but that there was a line of 20 people there at 7 waiting for it.

A couple months ago at Academy, I bought 4 boxes of 9mm ammo. When I went to check out, the fatass redneck behind loudly complained to his buddy that the reason there wasn't any ammo was because of hoarders like me. It was the first time in over a year that I had purchased ammo from a store.

Today I bought a Trijicon TA31RCO-A4CP. Didn't need it but I felt like buying one anyway.

You wanna waste your money on ammo more power to you.

Until I try to go get .22 to shoot with one day and there's none on the shelf because people think Obama is an evil dictator who will stop at nothing to send his cronies into your homes to take your guns and rape your wives. Then I get mad.

Funny. One is a worthless piece of paper that someone else has to have faith in to trade for goods and services. The other is a physical thing that has a practical use, that will still have value, even more so, in the event of a banking or electrical shut down.

I don't really carry cash, so mine is a number on a computer somewhere.

And the paper is worth something, whatever number is printed on the bill

Sounds like its safe in the event of a banking or electrical shut down.

Until there is no backing or faith in the bill.

However, in any of these situations, a bullet will still shoot from a gun. Or you could trade that bullet for bread, rice, a goat, or someones daughter. You can't lose hoarding ammo. It's science.
