I feel sorry for Bregman. I wish he had the option to leave after this season so he could avoid the shite-headed "fans" that we have.

I can't believe all the hate on Bregman in this thread. The guy plays as hard and practices more than anyone can ask. It may not even be his decision about talking to the media but even if it is, so be it.

That is sweet. Maybe he will be your friend.

If someone can't handle the tough love of LSU's baseball fan base, they won't stand a chance in pro ball.

This is a classic example of overanalyzing. As a fan, I just want the team playing better. IDGAF about hearing Breg's rehearsed, cookie-cutter answers to cliche questions about the team's struggles.

You know how I know that you don't belong in this thread? Your answer is logical, rational, and makes sense, and you aren't shitting on the best player on the team.

Good for him. The pressure put on this kid since he has stepped onto campus has been unreal. People need to remember, he's still a kid, just let him play and forget all the other BS.

I don't know why the players are talking to the media, much, if at all, anyway. I want them to play baseball and concentrate on that. I don't care whether they ever talk to the media and refusing to do so has zero to do with leadership on the field or in the dugout. Their business is baseball not public relations. Public relations doesn't win ballgames. Let PM talk to the media. Players are representin' on the field.

Much ado about what's probably nothing more than a kid who wants to concentrate on the game, the team and his own playing. He should ignore the media and most of the comments in this thread if he's reading anything at all.
