Exactly
It's no longer Republican vs. Democrat in this country
It's big government vs. small government
Republicans AND democrats populate the Big Government wing.
Only some Republicans and libertarians populate the small government wing.

No. Because it's the same old shite. If he's the nominee, I will, for the 1st time in my life, actively campaign for and donate to a 3rd party candidate.

Hook, line and sinker.
Last time you voted for anyone without a (D) next to there name?
Not disagreeing with you, but don't throw stones from your pretty glass house.

No.
I will vote 3rd party for proud Americans who want to save this country's future by stopping the out of control sending and making gov't as small as possible instead of maintaining the status quo like a typical big gov't politican.

I refer to them as the republican wing and the democrat wing of the socialist party.

Besides two people saying so, this thread's pretty much a frick no to this concept.

Well said.
To the supposed strong conservatives that will vote 3rd party to prove a point: I don't understand this thinking that has elected a failure of a president TWICE.
So you are pissed and either stayed home or voted for someone that had absolutely NO chance of being elected. Good going guys! I guess HRC will walk in again if left up to you guys.
I will NEVER vote DIM again.

You don't understand voting for the best candidate?
You're part of the problem.

bullshite-bullshite-bullshite.
SO - IF JEB wins the nomination at the RNC - you would sit back and do nothing to prevent Hillary or Biden or Reid or etc from becoming POTUS?
Just because he has the Bush name you would allow continued DEM control of SCOTUS nominees for another (2) terms.
Just because he may not be as extreme on immigration as you would like, you would stand by and allow a DEM to completely destroy the borders and allow aliens to vote in our elections?
etc etc etc.
You are probably just trying to prove how "pure" you are in your actions vs ideology sweepstakes. I would bet that you really don't live your life like that - only supporting causes that are 100% in line with your ideology.
THere is nobody on this board more conservative that I am in my base ideology. But I am not a slave to it.
I am also a pragmatist and the number one problem in America TODAY is the 60+ years of DEM ideology = and that only has become the law of the land and 'the new normal' because of jerks who refuse to vote for the 'lessor of two evils.'
Unless you actually think that ANY GOP nominee is equal to or worse than any likely DEM, then basic rationality says to vote for the one who is likely to cause less damage to our faltering nation.
Remember - Herodotus said 'first do no harm.'
Allowing another term of DEM 'leader'ship is definitely harmful.

You're a slave to the fat cats in one of the two major parties.
They appreciate your loyalty and willingness to vote them into office even when you know there's better candidates.

Do you HONESTLY think Romney would have repealed Obamacare? Do you HONESTLY think any establishment big-government R will, especially after Karl Rove has come out saying that we need to FIX it, not run on REPEAL?

Or, you could be the problem by continuing to vote for progressives with an R by their name.
