Looking for a good course in the Biloxi area that won't be $100 a round. Suggestions??

There's a Navy, SeaBee, base that has a cheap golf course in it. I'm west about 30 minutes, and the cheap places around me are Diamondhead golf, 2 courses, and Pass Christian Isles. The latter is a goat ranch, but it's cheap.

The Oaks, The Bridges, Winddance should all be under $100

If you weren't poor I would suggest a few nights at the Beau and playing Fallen Oak.
Oh well.

I would second The Oaks if you want to keep it reasonable.

There is a course called Sunkist CC in residential Biloxi that is an old country club course that is surprisngly fun with some great views of the back bay on some of the holes.
If youre looking for a cheaper option in town, this may be a good one. It's like 60 on weekends.
If you're staying at a hotel, I would ask if they have a special rate for the local courses. Some of the hotels other than the casinos have some deals.

Fallen Oak is AWESOME, but like soccer said... not $100. It was $225 when I played and you have to be staying at the Beau Rivage to play. (so plus another $250+)
The Preserve is really nice as well, but its $100-120.
Grand Bear a little cheaper at $75-95
The Preserve has the best value of the 3 in my opinion. I played all 3 of these courses 2 years ago while on my bachelor party. I know they don't all qualify for what you're looking for but I would recommend all 3.

great southern is an old donald ross design and it's right on the beach in biloxi.. they've put some money into it over the past couple of years and it's coming around some.. certainly not a nice course yet, but worth the meager fees they charge.

The Preseve often runs a "Play all day for $100" special. They also throw in either lunch or breakfast. Pretty good deal if u play 36 & eat lunch in between. Done it several times & well worth it.

Awesome course. The fairways were the nicest I've ever seen.
Wind Dance in gulfport is nice as well.

It's been years ago but me and some friends took a golf trip to Biloxi and played a course called Mississippi National (think that was the name). This was about the late 90s so I have no idea what it's like now but it was pretty good as I recall. Seems like the price then was around $100.

What are you doing, going on some kind of a post-wedding bachelor party?

If golf is a passion, try to play Grand Bear. No houses around, a great layout, and not insanely difficult. For a cheaper option, the Great Southern club on the beach just past the Gulfport/Biloxi line is a decent layout. Greens can be iffy. Twilight with a cart is $25 and you can get around in about 2.5 hours. In the 50's, it was a pro tour stop.
