I couldn't get past the two turtle shelled dudes with the maces after him. Was so pumped to have beat the boss then kept getting my arse beat by damn turtles.

That fire puzzle section after the smelter demon will give me nightmares.

Made my way through Huntsman Copse last night, Skeleton Lords were no problem. Stopped once I got to Harvest valley. Cut my way through most enemies with ease, +7 Bastard sword is 2-3 hits on most enemies here. I think I should have been here a long time ago.

Yea I've been using a +6 bastard sword for awhile now and I'm a good bit past that part. Most enemies are down within 3 hits

I've made it back to Freya.
playing as a mage specializing primarily in ranged attacks means lots of blue lazers.
that fricking spider can eat a dick.

I'm liking the black knight greatsword if I can just get my dex up a couple more levels
Anyone using it?

I used it for a bit, solid sword with elemental damage

elemental damage
That why i'd like to use it. I also got the smelter sword but its so damn heavy.

I've been using my 10+ Claymore stacked with Magic Damage. Pretty good btu I can see it not being up to par pretty soon. Putting all my points into Intelligence now to add some cannon to my character.
BTW, poison arrows are the bomb.

Smelter sword can be useful, the strong attack does so much damages but also significantly lowers durability

Yea, I like having a backup sword equiped in case my main one breaks during a fight, which has happened too many times. The smelter sword just doesn't allow me to have any additional weight equiped.

I'm still using the firesword I got at the beginning of the game. I have it maxed out and it does pretty well most of the time.
Is there any way to upgrade even farther after I max it out using titanite?
In DS1 you could take it to the smith in Anor Lando and upgrade it more.

Maybe the smith in Lost Bastille.

I believe using a raw stone in a weapon allows for further improvement. I burned an aesthetic in the shaded woods and beat the scorpion to get a ring of attunement +2

This happened to me while fighting the Skeleton Lords. With One lord left and about 10 little skeletons all coming after me I managed to hold my shield up while equipping repair powder from my inventory then fixing my sword enough to finish the fight. It was intense and scary not being able to see where I was going.

Where is this?
