What about people who buy $60 fishing shirts, but don't fish in them? Guy at work says he's only wearing it to 'go out' in.....

stopped wearing the traditional fishing shirt. I prefer long sleeve UV blocking polyester ones. Keep me nice and cool in the summer

All that fancy shite is too frat and too rich for me. I wear something along the lines of this.

Seriously if we ever fish together don't be shocked.

Side note, has anyone ever actually used the little Velcro strap for anything? Isn't it to hold a rod or something?

One of my buddies who captained a boat out of the Keys for a while told me that they used them to hang leader lines

I like the way Magellan look and wear, plus they are considerably cheaper than Columbia. I'm OBpoor. I do have some PFG that are 6-7 years old and are still in good shape.

Columbia have really come down, I usually pay $30 or less. And I rarely wear them fishing, unfortunately, but when I wear them I'm doing something outside and it is hot. To wear one for "going out" seems odd but I've given up trying to make sense of what people wear. There's WAY worse than that.

Just ordered a couple of these in the Air Strip style, in micro-plaid.
