As a matter of fact he said in that meeting “if I hear any of you pushing back, making statements about Washington spends too much money, you’ll hear from me.”

In the next GOP White House, Jindal needs to be HHS Secretary.

Well, if you reject Jindal, you better have someone in mind with major backbone.

Ironically, he was chastised for speaking out after the meeting yesterday. Saying that the Obama Administration is more concerned about minimum wage than the Keystone Pipeline.

there are a lot of conservatives and republicans that see through Jindal as a self serving opportunist

I'm with you there, though I suppose he is a politician, so some of that should be suspected.

Just as bad as Jindal in the criticism above. Maybe worse. His close ties to Troy Hebert and much of the EWE crowd tell me all I need to know.

That would be good. Or even head of homeland security. Lord knows FEMA needs some reworking.

Yeah, we all know how much Jindal hates La.

He's had the Advocate and the TP on his back for years now. He's not might favourite, but since the Leftists at the Advocate took over it's day in day out Jindal bash-a-thon.

Just take a look at the headline in today's Advocate. "Jindal lashes out at Obama after meeting" If that's what passes for "lashing out"
at the Advocate, I'd love to see how they would characterize Obama calling his political opponents "terrorists". Crickets, I'm sure.

Where is he unpopular, other than in liberal circles? If he was allowed to run again, he'd be re-elected.

Jindal's approval rating is hovering in the low-40's.

Im curious, why would Jindal be unpopular with conservatives? I honestly don't know that much about Jindal.

Louisiana has been in the doldrums for a hundred years. It's an ingrained culture. Jindal's is seen as a threat because he's getting the state and its residents out of their comfort zone and off their butts, and the drones are kicking and screaming. Everybody wants to get well but nobody wants to go to the doctor.

People in Louisiana don't want good government - they want pretty good government.

It wouldn't take much research to figure out why even conservatives with at least an average IQ or slightly disappointed with Jindal. I think he has been better than any gov. in recent memory, but I had high expectations. Here is the quick summary-

* From day one, Bobby has been focused on getting to the white house. He has traveled the country attending fundraisers and making speeches non-stop. Which is ok, if he would have put forth as much effort in making real changes and working with the other political leaders in the state.

* Instead of consulting with people and getting advice, he and his inner circle just did what the hell they wanted even when it made no sense. He half assed a tax reform plan. He passed what was supposed to be a big deal about a more transparent and honest gov., but excluded himself and his inner circle.

* He could have made a real push to get a coalition together to actually change higher education in the state and close some of the BS schools. That quickly proved to be more than he wanted to bite off so he gave up.
Then to make his job easier to win some for sure votes on his issues, he became best friends with John Alerio, who is nothing but a shite bag.
And more examples, but I don't feel like typing anymore. You can read it with just minimal research.

I give him props for helping to attract new businesses, but I think alot of that was going to happen anyway due to the oil and gas situation going on right now. This state is positioned very well for this boom.
