We always have the Nola Vs ______ pissing match.
Lets battle out two cities that seem as interchangeable as the next:
Oklahoma City, OK vs. Cleveland, OH.
Tell me which is better or worse and why:

Oklahoma City has Bricktown. It wins hands down.

Ohio is dying, so I'll say Oklahoma.

OKC is a great small sized city. If anyone hates on it, they have never been or have poor judgement

Oklahoma City has Norman to the south of it and Stillwater about an hour or so north. It's also a short drive to Dallas and casinos. I'm not a big fan of OKC, but goddamn if it isn't better than Cleveland. Everything is better than Cleveland

Carry on

I've never been to either, but I generally prefer cities that were bigger cities earlier (such as Cleveland) than cities that mostly grew big later (OKC), so I'll go with Cleveland.

Not really.
Cleveland gets a terrible rap. I like it.
I mean it isn't Columbus but its not bad.

OKC is growing and attracting a lot of young professionals. This is an easy one. OKC in a landslide.

Trey, how is the Flats stuff? It was rocking when I went a few times in the late 90's/early 2000's, but I thought I heard it died down a bit.

They are currently rebuilding it. Tore everything down and started over. Ernst and Young built a new headquarters down there and there are some restaurants/bars and an Aloft Hotel. In the next 18 months it will be bigger than it was in the 90s.

I have lived in a lot of places and if the contest is actually culture...not sure either one is very strong. Having said that I live in Edmond, OK which was just named the #1 Suburb in the US (has won this multiple times) and can't imagine myself wanting to leave anytime soon. It is truly like Mayberry here and a great place to raise our kids. But CULTURE...no not much culture just nice kind people.

I live in Norman, 10 mins south of OKC. Bricktown is cool, everything else is pretty boring.

Cleveland wins in a landslide if thats the contest.

If unemployment and homeless bums everywhere = culture, then yes Cleveland would win in a landslide.
