As a Cajun fan as well as a Tiger fan, I find this disappointing from both sides. LSU doesn't need to talk shite to ULL because they aren't in the same galaxy as LSU. Yet people seem to still do it. And the Cajun fan base does have some delusional fans. I remember after 1/9/12 ULL fans saying LSU sucks because they got rolled in the Title Game. Never mind that Bama or LSU would have crushed ULL that year and every year since. Its always the same thing though. LSU fans rip ULL because they tend to bash other schools and ULL kinda asks for it because they talk shite when they have no grounds to. I personally will watch and cheer for both and let the idiots on both sides be idiots.

The large majority of the responses to that thread were level headed. From "lets try to beat Ole Miss first" to "the last place SEC team skull drug us last year. What makes you think we could beat LSU"

Those were two posts. Most posts in that thread were devoid of that logic.

They won't beat LSU but there is no doubt they would score TD's & make a game of it for 3 quarters. This is not your Daddy's Ragin Cajuns with Hudspeth. Dude recruits athletes.

Wow they were lucky to beat Tulane in the NOLA bowl and now they are ready to tackle the upper crust of the SEC. What is in the water over there?

It's not water it's bourbon.
UL could maybe only beat LSU at Baseball & Basketball on an off night.

Regionals will be fun this year!

First of all, its really weird that you browse the message board of a team you claim no one cares about. Second, I assume you didn't actually read that thread and just blindly searched until you found something about LSU and then ran here as fast as you could to tell the masses how obsessed the Cajuns are with LSU. The large majority of the responses to that thread were level headed. From "lets try to beat Ole Miss first" to "the last place SEC team skull drug us last year. What makes you think we could beat LSU"

Cool. Now give us your levelheaded opinion of how the game would go.

OK, let me clarify just a bit. Yes, I have a few UL-L friends that I may have pandered to a little in my comment but offensively the program has improved under Hudspeth. I did say "make a game of it for 3 Quarters". I didn't say they would beat LSU. They don't have the depth. But I do think they are capable of scoring some TD's and making the game interesting for a little while. This is of course based on LSU coming out flat (see Towson and other weak OOC teams) and UL-L being sky high (which we know they would). I just don't think it's far fetched thinking they could score a couple of TD's unlike previous years.

I actually don't think LSU would come out flat due to the morons from ULL that would talk shite and stir the pot in the week leading up.

You would think LSU would have come out flat in any of the 22 other meetings. I just don't see it happening. We are much better completely across the board, from water boy to head coach. Add in the fact that our players would be motivated by not wanting to be the LSU team to have a close game against ULL, and I think we don't see a close game against them ever (unless something incredibly crazy happens to the college football landscape).

LSU would win by around 3 touchdowns at least. I know you were hoping for me to say the Cajuns would beat LSU or come up a few points shy, so you could call me an idiot and put me in my place. Sorry to disappoint.

So you think we would only score about 28 points?

Just last year, UAB scored 17, Kent State 13 and Furman 16. LSU tends to take plays off against lesser competition and gives up points.

Except against ULL.
