My reason is simple. I want my niece to go to BRMHS. I don't know enough about taxes or fire protection to give an informed opinion.

against St. George. I don't want the town I grew up in to split up and turn to Detroit.

For St. George, cause it's in the State Constitution and those people want better than what BTR has been giving them. So let them bare the responsibility of starting a new city and hope they are just as successful as Denham and Central.

Against.

I think BR is trending upward and would hate to see folks turn their back on it.

A part of me says St. George would serve the EBRP School Board right for its blind incompetence, but, I am a realist .. If BR loses SE BR, it will turn into a scaled down Detroit in the city limits .. So, in the end, I am against it ..

I mean I understand it and kind of indifferent, but how shitty would b.r. Become without st. George money? Not sure I want to live next to that.

Why can't they just have their own school district? Isn't that the main reason they want to leave? I don't know, haven't really been following.

I'm for St. George in principle (mostly because the BR government and school board is a shite show and the boundaries have been jerryrigged for generations), but I'm not sold on their financials. There are some shady characters heading up the St. George efforts and their budgets don't seem to add up.
