I just got a job that will require me to live in the north Atlanta area. My office will be in Dunwoody/Sandy Springs but am looking for a good place to live in that area. Does the OT have any good suggestions.

Sandy Springs is a very nice area.. I think the median income is well into the 100s

College Park is a descent area with close access to the airport.

My mother in law used to live in John's Creek. It is a really nice area.

What's your age/gender/marital status, and how do you like to socialize/spend your free time?

The most important thing is that you don't need to get on 400 to go to work.
If you're single, live in Buckhead and commute. If you don't plan to stay long on Altanta (can't blame you) move to Dunwoody.

I used to live near Kennessaw Mountain. It was okay....but if I were buying, I'd go a little farther east of that area to the Ga 400 suburbs.
Alpharetta, Roswell, and Johns Creek are mostly nice. I'd try to go with east Cobb depending on where you'll be working. Good luck with Atlanta traffic.....I couldn't stand rush hour there.
