Pain in the elbow and tricep area

I did some google search and I am pretty sure it is bicep tendonitis. Left arm isn't as bad as the right. Can't lock the left arm at the elbow but it is mostly straight. Can barely extend or let my right arm hang.
Worked out Sunday. Was sore yesterday, worst today.
Oh and the bicept and tricep itself isn't sore anymore. Pain is all where the arm hinges at the elbow, wrapping up a little to the top of the arm, and down and around to the back of the tricep.
Has anyone ever dealt with this before and do you have any suggestions?

I had almost the same thing. Hurt to even let my arm hang at my side.
Google a few PT exercises and do them diligently. Most can be done while you are watching tv. Apply moist heat for 10 min a day.
That's what the Ortho told me to do, and I haven't had a problem since.

Bicepital tendonitis. Take Advil for a couple of days. Don't do curls or weights with arms. If not better in 5 days, call doctor.

Wrap, anti-inflammatory medicine, rest...

I had tennis elbow in both arms after remodeling my kitchen three years ago. Went to my orthopedist and got cortisone shots in both arms. Shots hurt like hell for about a day, but after that you start to get real relief from the pain. Long term you will need to follow other suggestions from this board regarding heat and cold as well as deep tissue massage. Should you choose to consult and orthopedist, he may also prescribe physical therapy.
