My wife loves Dexter but was visibly upset when he threw out the "Roll Tide". I knew it was inevitable and had prepared myself for it. Surprised it took him this long

Yeah, I agree. I knew it was coming. I don't think it's wise, though, unless they're LSU fans. Everyone loves us.

I've been referring to him as Meatloaf in here for awhile. Not just looks but style. He could totally pull off love by the dashboard light. Meatloaf, Darius Rucker, and unfortunate looking guy that sang Babylon are my favorites.
Is it going to be 5 guys and 5 girls then 3 wild cards. IMO there are no more than 3 chicks that belong in the top 10. If it's 5&5 then all 3 wild cards should be dudes.

Last year, there were very few boys who deserved to be in the top 12. Became obvious as they were quickly voted off.

They picked 5 of the remaining 10 to perform and picked 3 of those to move on.
Those three were Jena, CJ, and some other girl. I remember her last name was O'Connor.
Oh, and Harry made the ghetto fabulous black girl with the ridiculous lipstick cry. That was funny.

Cutie Patootie messed up two nights in a row, sadly, but if have kept him over Kristen. CJ was the only black guy to make it. I say it that way bc I don't remember everyone's names yet. CJ wasn't great either, but I guess they saw more potential in him than Cutie Patootie. I still wish they'd pick the top 13 rather than equal if each gender. Jena was the best of the 5 that got a chance to sing for a spot.

color me shocked..i didn't think there was any way Jlo didn't carry cutie to the top 13...
glad they kept caleb, he's still my favorite..mostly because he sings my kind of music...prolly won't win but i like him.
the other young guys kind of all melt into one..don't really know them by name yet
I don't understand why they kept CJ after telling him he didn't do good..
Lovin Harry more and more as the "honest" judge..especially when pretty boy seacrest tries to call him out when he uses a musical term...

CJ was JLo's sympathy keep. She picked him over Spencer. I think they each picked and that was hers. I also wondered if they kept him because none of the black guys made it to the top 5. They've always liked him, though.

I am all the way caught up. Its a weak season talent wise. Its not as bad as the Lee Dewyze season but its pretty bad.
I can't believe they eliminated the midget Munfarid he was the best performer. His Rolling on the River performance was the best of the season by far.
I also can't believe they didn't even give the cute light skinned girl Brianna a chance to sing to get in the top 13. There in no eye candy left.
Malaya is my favorite. Not favorite to win but personal favorite. She is from Michigan and she is adorable, they are messing her up with all the make up though.
If I had to put money on who I actually think can win it would be one of Sam Wolf, Majesty, the swaggy Tennessee guy, and Alex the British looking dude.
