Cam Cameron will make this one.

Kevin Mawae - instant recruiting cred, NFL experience, attitude, already hanging around program, has forgotten more oline technique and skills than Stud will ever grasp.

Bob Bostad - coached all those Wisconsin studs and NFL (Bucs) experience, one of the best around. (my favorite)

Stacey Searles - LSU experience and use to hold down north La. in recruiting

Ben Wilkerson - was asst oline coach during the '11 season, was reason for oline improvement that season, would recruit well.

Greg Adkins - NFL (Bills now)/College oline experience, worked w/Chavis at UT, good oline coach

James Cregg - good recruiter and oline coach at USC.

Hal Hunter - NFL (Chargers/Colts/etc) experience, good oline coach, LSU history, worked with Cameron.

Lunda Wells - NFL (Giants) and college (LSU) experience.

Luke Butkus - NFL (Lions/Jags) and college experience.

Chris Foerster - NFL (Redskins/etc.) and college experience.

Rob Sale - McNeese and LSU. Would lock-up North La.

Andy Moeller - NFL experience (Ravens) and college experience, Michigan man and worked with Cameron. HOME RUN (titles in flux at Ravens, Castillo got title)

Todd Washington - NFL (Ravens), played in NFL and worked with Cameron.

Terry Heffernan - NFL (Detroit) and college experience.

I know Mawae doesn't have any experience, but I love him (kinda no homo). He helped the team in an unofficial role this year and is incredibly well-spoken, personable and intelligent. He's an alum with a wealth of NFL experience, and I think he'd kill it as a recruiter. No clue if he's interested or not, but Id be okay with that hire. I do not think he'll be a serious candidate, though. Not sure he even has the itch to coach in that involved of a role

I know he coached D-line but I want Coach "O" even if just for his recruiting, we need to get a litte dirtier if we're gonna be able to bring North LA back into the fold.

Andy Moeller -

Not sure if this would be a good move. You don't know what your gonna get with him.

, Moeller was arrested for DUI, and was sentenced to 60 days in prison, though all but two of the days were suspended; Moeller was also placed on probation. The arrest was his third alcohol-related in four years.[

could be a homerun hire, but do you want to risk it?

Please stop rattling off former LSU O-Linemen. Just because they played at LSU doesn't make them a candidate.

Wilkerson couldn't stick at Grambling
Mawae has never coached a day in his life
Rob Sale has never coached in college football

Kevin Mawae?
What makes you think he would be a good coach? He was very good at the position but does not make you a great coach. Some of you are really delusional.

Grambling has issues, I wouldn't put much stock in him not "sticking"

Don't know if he would be a good coach, but I think the pluses could be worth the risk. He would no doubt put his entire heart into the job and leave no stone unturned to make the line the best it can be. I am sure that he has as much knowledge of OL techniques and such as any coach they could bring in. What we don't know is if he wants to coach full time?

Would be an interesting pick. No big school college experience, so recruiting would be a question mark. I posted in one of the CC board threads that he is only the 13th person to win a Superbowl as a player and a coach (in his case assistant OL coach) - which will be an icebreaker for many of our "3 and done" mindset recruits.

Yeah, let's hire someone who's never coached before to coach at a major football program. GENIUS!

Wouldn't mind this hire at all.

Pretty good hire as well.

Best bet IMO is Andy Moeller or someone Cam's worked with before.

Mawae would instill EFFORT and HEART into EVERY game throughout the team. He has the cred and personality to be the major motivator...
