C'mon folks y'all are all off base. BR is a chain town. They need to go save Applebee's, red Lopster, or a Golden Corral.

Yeah that red lopster does need some help

The Londoner seems to be having trouble figuring out what direction they want to go in.

The Londoner
This would be more worthy of saving before any fried seafood or steak joint.
The beer selection and the unique menu items set it apart from most in BR. They do indeed, struggle with the delivery.
Good call.

Monjunis was sad the last time we went. Hadn't been in over a year then went for lunch last month. It never was great, but it could be tasty. Seems just really lackluster now.

How many levels does The Londoner have, 2 or 3? I went there not long ago, but never walked upstairs.
Is it a happening place on the weekends? My idea of a pub would basically be a very relaxed atmosphere British themed sports bar with games, which they have. But, I've heard others on here say that the TL tries to be more of just a restaurant than a sports bar, if that makes any sense.

Out of luck Skil, upstairs doesn't open until 7:00. You'll never be out late enough.

Something like 38 or the 83 restaurants featured on the show have closed down. Not the best success rate.
Considering how bad 90% of the owners are on the show, I think that's actually a pretty good success rate.

I have a hard time believing that The Londoner would be failing, much less failing hard enough to need Restaurant: Impossible to help out. Every time I have been there it's pretty busy.

Don's or Capital City Grill on Sherwood

I think so too. Many of those places are on their last legs.
I wonder what the success ratio of Bar Rescue is? Those places usually totally suck when they go in.

The food there is awful and I don't think they do much business.

Yep. many of them stopped caring about their business. You can fix their kitchens, their dining areas, their server stations, but you can't make them care about their restaurant 6 weeks after you leave it. I think if he's turned around 50% or better of the restaurants that he intervened, he's doing a good job.

A friend of mine said they have good food there. I went twice and I haven't had anything really good. Once I got some salty-arse nachos -- and for me to say something is salty, it has to be salty. The second time, we got a few small plates and guacamole. The guacamole was bland and the chipotle shrimp were salty. The only thing that was good was the fried cheese.

Exactly.
I wonder how that restaurant where the wife was dressed up in the hot dog suit. They seemed to care.

They really did, they were trying everything they could think of

I would consider it a local chain, which is different than a chain in my book.
