This volunteer position is a great way to meet people in your field and contribute to a good cause in the area! Meals will be provided and you're encouraged to wear com...fortable clothing and sneakers/boots with no logos, as you may be on camera. I was reading about the show last night. Something like 38 or the 83 restaurants featured on the show have closed down. Not the best success rate.

Pinetta's would be a good candidate

If it's Fleur de Lis the melt would be awesome.

I have had several business meeting with Staubi in there. Place was legit. Has it gone down?

It would but maybe my wife would actually go there instead of having me pick up. that place makes you smell like an Italian armpit

Fleur de Lis is always packed. Part of its charm is that it is so old school. Pinetta's seems to be doing well, however. We went a couple of months ago on a Friday night and had to wait 20-30 minutes for a table. Usually, the sorts of places that are on the show are losing money. Plus, Pinetta's is so damn old, you know the rent is low.
I dunno, maybe Lava Cantina? The food there is awful and I don't think they do much business.

Went to pinettas 2 wks ago and then passed that area Saturday evening. They aren't hurting. Plus the food is good. At least I and the wife liked it

You can eliminate 80% of the restaurants just by crossing off the chains.
That's sad Baton Rouge.

No reason for that place to not be kicking arse right now, Good location, good facilities , get in there and clean it up, modernize the menu and decor, get some real management, and stop living off of a name that was great 20 years ago

Remember this is a national entertainment show with a ready-made agenda. Check the clue in the OP
