They don't build the casinos on winners money.

Ever hear about anyone's stock losses?

Mainly, man if I had gotten on XYZ at X time.

Or this stock made me huge money.

Never hear about the losers.

I have a good friend and every time I've been with him he has lost. Claims to win a lot though, but I don't believe him. I'm also pretty sure he has a borderline gambling problem.

Everyone else I know seems honest about how their night went.

I knew a guy who got had a gambling problem. Also had a drug problem. Ended up robbing a bank. I'd say he lost. He's doing better from what I hear, though.

People only talk about their wins. Pretty simple concept.

This year has a chance to be my first losing betting season since I started 4 years ago. There are some games left though so maybe not

Sounds like he was doing fine. Gambling, drugs, robbing banks?

What he's doing now can't be as interesting.

My trip to Vegas a few years ago, I got in the elevator to drop my stuff off at the room. A guy got in and appeared to be coked out bouncing around and he asked me how I was fairing. I told him I just got there and politely asked how the casino has been treating him. He told me he was up 15k and I looked at him shocked. I asked him what he was doing so well on and he told me that 3 days before he had hit a slot machine for 100k. I said to him, So you've lost 85k since and he said no, he was up 15k.

I have always come away around breaking even. I think I ended up down 200 in Vegas after a week there and I lost that on $5 slots waiting for a cab to the airport. I have always won about 50 every time I have been to Biloxi but I also don't bet big and usually end up playing video poker and maybe roulette for awhile. I always lose at Blackjack and slots.

Yeah, it's amazing how you can go to Vegas with people that go to the ATM every couple of hours and then at the end of the weekend say that they broke even.

The first 3 times that I went to Las Vegas I won hundreds of dollars (I'm not a big bettor) each time. I've finished down every time since then. But not a lot and I think that it's been money well spent considering that the drinks are free.

I have Trust fund baby taught me how to play craps on a cruise. Won big first night, ran in to him the next night he was down $15k. He didn't care.

I was going to post this. I work in the investing industry and clients are always telling me about their winners as though that is the only investments they make, yet they are happy to pay a professional to invest the majority of their funds. I always get a kick out of it.

I lost betting on horses today. Have only walked out of a casino up twice. Only been a half dozen times though.
