Um, okay. It's true. Of course, your new pair won't be covered for loss (you can claim loss only once), but the new pair is covered for any/all future damage claims.

I'm rough on sunglasses and paid $70 for my Natives on clearance. Had them for a couple of years and they're like brand new. I wouldn't pay over $100 for shades though so I look for sales. Natives fit perfectly, I don't think you could knock them off my head.

I get clear view glasses from my doctor. No need of sunglasses.

I have Costa's, Ray Bans, Wiley X. Costa's have the best lenses but my Wiley Xs are incredibly tough. I have smacked my face off of the gunnels coming in one day and thought for sure I broke the Wiley's, it didn't hardly scratch the lens. If you are hard on glasses get the Wiley's if your looking for a solid pair of fishing glasses and you aren't worried about breaking them get Costa's or Maui Jim's.

I tried on a bunch of sunglasses the other day at BPS. My top two are the Costa Fantails and the Maui Jim Bamboo Forest.
Status quo would direct me to get the Costas but man those MJ's fit so damn good and quite honestly were twice as light and fit better.
I for some reason feel a strong urge to get the Costas because,,,,well,,,umm,,,,

Just got a new pair of ray bans for christmas and love them. First pair of ray bans with plastic frames and they are comfortable.

Good advice. I have had two pairs of Natives and love them. Also have Costas and love them.

I have some polarized Ray-Ban Baloramas. Just like the ones Clint Eastwood wore in Dirty Harry:
