Are you serious or just ignorant?
Probably ignorant. Look at the ranked teams the Big 12 have beaten OOC this season.
Colorado 2x
Kentucky
Duke
Gonzaga
North Carolina
Iowa
Michigan
Memphis
.500 against every conference with the exception of the Big 10 (3-4)
Once again, not saying the Big 12 is better than the Big 10. Just saying the gap between the two isn't a wide as many believes.

I think the ACC, Big 12, and B1G all aremt too far off of eachother, but other conferences are behind those 3 by a bit.

Now that we are a few more games into the B1G conference, has anybody's opinion changed about the conference? After Iowa beat Ohio State and Minnesota took Michigan St to the wire, my original opinion that the conference is still the best hasnt changed. Iowa is a damn good team!! Their losses are @ #8 Iowa St by 3, @ #6 Villanova by 5 in OT and @ #3 Wisconsin by 4. 3 losses to top 10 teams on the road by a combined 12 points. I am a firm believer in Iowa and i think they can win the B1G! Right now here is how i would rank the teams i think will make the tourny from the B1G:
1. Wisconsin
2. Iowa
3. Michigan St
4. Ohio St
5. Minnesota
6. Michigan
7. Indiana
8. Illinois
9. Purdue
1. Wisconsin
2. Iowa
3. Michigan St
4. Ohio St
5. Minnesota
6. Michigan
7. Indiana
8. Illinois
9. Purdue

Ill admit that Michigan is getting their feet back under them. They are rebounding after a dissapointing start to the season.

Iowa was beating Wisconsin handidly until Fran the man went on his tirade and was ejected. I have Wisconsin #1 only because they are undefeated, but i think as of right now, Iowa is the most complete team in the conference. They can match Wisconsin's shooting and have better inside presence along with better overall team athletic ability. Start paying attention to Iowa!

They're better than I'd thought. As for MSU, thank god for Adrien Payne. I know they won vs. MINN without him, but he's such a leader for us.

I don't necessarily think any conference in CBB is "head and shoulders" above all the others.
There are about 10-15 teams who "can" win it all this season, from various conferences.
Arizona to me right now looks like the most complete, well-rounded team in the nation, but I don't think they are unbeatable.

While i agree completely about the "head and shoulders" part, there is also nothing that convinces me that there is a conference that is better then the B1G right now. That could change, but as of right now, i still have the B1G #1 followed by the Big 12 and quietly the PAC 12.

I think Wisconsin will win the B1G this year because they have the easiest schedule and are pretty good. However, I actually think Iowa is the better team and maybe the best team in the B1G this year. They are dangerous and a legitimate final four contender.

The league will get six/seven teams in as usual with Michigan State and Wisconsin able to get to the final four. I don't think the league is as strong as it was last year but is right there with the Big 12. If you match every team against themselves from last year, each team save Wisconsin and Michigan State would beat each other.
Purdue is headed to the NIT. Painter has regressed as a coach.

He has a good recruiting class coming in next year though. His teams still play very hard. Indiana and Butler may have had something to do with Purdue being middle of the pack the last 2-3 years. Painter is a quality coach who isnt under any pressure IMO. His job is safe.

Looking forward to the UM-Wisco game this weekend

Michigan State is the best team in the big ten and has the players in Appling, Harris, Dawson, and Payne to go all the way.
Wisconsin under Ryan doesn't do well in the tourney. Wisconsin does not have the players--NBA prospects to get to the Final Four.
Ryan's white boy WIAC style of team and play can't cut it when it matters.

Kaminsky and Dekker will play in the NBA so will Hayes(after 4 years in college)

Painter was only good when Hummel, Ronney and Johnson was there. If they were all healthy, they would have won a title. Since they left, Purdue is bad. Painter can't recruit anymore. Better home his incoming class brings them back to the top or they are screwed.

The scary part about Wisconsin is Brust is there only senior

I think it's Wisconsin's year to win the BIG based on their schedule and consistent play. MSU can look like 2009 UNC for stretches, then look like shite for others. Watching them play this year they remind me a lot of last year's Indiana team which scares me for the tournament.
