Malachi Dupre Interview

Many people feel as recruits like Fournette and Brown are headed to LSU and as of lately some people, including myself, may not feel 100% for Malachi. Simply because he always mentions Florida State and UCLA and how he will be taking an OV to Alabama although he was always here for many LSU games. After reading this article on 247, I feel great about him signing with LSU with comments like..
"With LSU, I have been there multiple, multiple times,” Dupre said. "Everything I would go through on an official visit, I would have been through it before. If I didn’t take an official visit though, it wouldn’t be a reason for LSU fans to freak out. I have been there so many times and I know all the things that go on. It wouldn’t be the end of the world if I didn’t go on a visit there."
“LSU, that was my first huge offer,” Dupre said. "I grew up an LSU fan and that was a school I always thought about being a part of. But I have an opportunity to go anywhere, so that’s help me not be narrow-minded and say that I will just go to LSU.
He also mentioned Florida State and how he hasn't been there but would like to and how Alabama is making a real late push. Just seems too late for him to go to FSU and completely change his mind and same with Alabama.
Like i said, i know some people say 100% Malachi to LSU but for those who weren't completely sure, this is awesome to read. Cant wait to see him in P&G!!

grew up an LSU fan, has a chance to come to his dream school which just happens to be the only SEC school to produce two 1000 yard receivers this year that are (likely) be on their way to the NFL
hard to wait on these kids but I think Dupre will make the right decision, no other school has as much to offer him

Agreed, he has the opportunity to step in day 1 and compete for PT, imo

The part I loved about that interview was his mention of Jameis and how he could only play with him for one year ... Where Jennings ... It would be at least 2 ... Maybe 3

Gotta wonder how important it will be for AJ to air it out some during the Iowa game. I think we need to see a passing attack in the Outback Bowl for a lot of reasons/recruits.

I don't see a very large need for him to air it out to impress Chi. MD had to be impressed with his performance against Arky and as long as AJ manages the bowl with a decent completion percentage and a win, he doesn't even need to get 200 yards through the air for Chi to consider him a good QB to play with.
My opinion of coarse but I am sure that Chi knows what AJ is capable of and a great showing in the Bowl will just solidify that even if his yards through the air isn't all that.
I love our chances to get the rest of the guys on our board. I love our chances of getting CRob if Nicky bolts as well. As for Hootie, his spot might be gone if Saban bolts and we land that Texas safety. Getting all of our targets from here on out will have to play a part in his decision as well.

All these kids want to go through the recruiting process….taking visits, talking to coaches, the works. They would be fools if they didn't, and some take longer to go through that process than others.

As an LSU fan, I am sure deep down in the core of his being he hates Alabama. I know I do.

I didn't know he was interested in FSU until a Curtis parent told me Thursday at the game that he thought that's where Dupree would go.

There are a couple Curtis guys on staff at FSU.
