Haven't they pre-sold ALL the suites and club seats ? That and moving 1500+ visitors from the lower to upper deck...does not leave many to sell now does it ?

Well, the student section will always look a lot more empty for the Arky (future A&M) game because of Thanksgiving.
I know I never made it to the Arky game

Hope they have a lot of leeway built into the schedule. Looks like a wet winter ahead.

notice during the games the club seats/suites are packed, which is what this expansion is mostly comprised of. I don't think we'll have any problems filling up against State, Ole Miss, and Alabama. Now the rest of our horrible schedule? I don't blame a soul
My guess is that the majority of season ticket holders go to games or find a way to sell their tickets or give them away. the tickets that are no already owned by someone have issues being sold for crappy games.
Bama will be packed
if aTm is good with the exception of the student section the stadium will be packed.
maybe the Mississippi State game and Ole miss game. Espically if Ole Miss has a good year next year and with all their young talent it could be packed.
This was a strange year no huge games at home, We thought auburn would be bad when we played them. TCU was neutral site, I don't remember Florida but I think it had pretty good attendance. But I don't remember this having the same hype that previous seasons have.
sure LSU will continue to struggle to bring people to game but I believe season ticket holders will continue to go to games.

I haven't seen the season ticket holders next to me in two years. They sell their tickets on Ebay. Different people every week, except for the games they can't unload them.

That looks like a terrible view if the ball is on the other side of the field.

Let the Students have all the sections, stretching from where the band used to be, to where the band is now
That would be a horrible idea. They should put the students in the upper deck with the visitors!

FL game was also the traffic nightmare. Many people simply turned around and went home.
Talked to several and a traditional 45 min commute on game day turned into 3 1/2 hrs for the FL game

FL was the one game I missed this year, but A&M and Arky had smooth traffic flow. Granted, it was nowhere near a full house for either.

I can't tell if you're serious. Best kind of troll.

They need to take away a good portion of the student section.
This won't fix issue of gaps in the student section. It will only move the gap.
LSU sells a certain number of student tickets. Those students pack the lower portion of the bowl.
What LSU needs to do is sell more student tickets, but allocate the same amount seating area for students.

Where will the scoreboard/ jumbo screen be on the south side?
Posted on 12/4/13 at 7:00 pm to rphtiger
anybody know how much these suites go for, or the suites in general?
Posted on 12/4/13 at 7:06 pm to rphtiger
There will be a pair of medium sized video- scoreboards..one in each corner

When I had Season Tickets they were in the South End Zone almost behind the Goal Post. I loved it there and there were a lot of nice people that had Season Tickets then. You can see good even if the action is on the other end. When it is on the South End the game is great especially like the Goal Line Stand against Notre Dame when Steve Rehage made the Tackle for loss on 4th Down you could not hear yourself think. Thats worth a Season Ticket!!!

Pretty serious! I think the student section is pretty dumb and they think they're owed something!

but what I've noticed is that the student section usually is the worst

Quite possibly the dumbest thing I have ever read on the rant.
