That is COMPLETELY unacceptable! This will be the last year of that league...period!
I think you need to get all of the top four seeds together and discuss this. Maybe a reply-all email/text or something. You need to force the commish to put things back, the way they are SUPPOSED to be! Just wow!

It is, but I was referring to the op specifically. If the commish doesn't reset the playoff format an the op walks, then he wouldn't be voting for a new commissioner in a league he's no longer in.

I've never heard of anything more openly egregious than this shite in my life. It's basically like stealing. It's not even worth arguing over... this guy needs to put it back to 4 teams immediately, and then be promptly kicked out of the league.

I joined a new league last year that was 12 teams with a 6 team playoff. About 4 weeks before the playoffs they had a "vote" to add two teams to the playoffs. 8 team playoff in a 12 league?Somehow the vote passed. Probably because the only 2 teams that voted against it were the leaders of league, myself being one of those.
What happened? I lost in the first round when I should have had a bye. I would have won the whole thing if they didn't screw me over. I got nothing when I should have got $375. Needless to say I don't talk to any of those people anymore.
