Gonna' miss him; he had heart like Herb Tyler and had an awesome season this year.
Weird though...what are the odds that he & Murray BOTH end up getting their knee blown out in their last game?

I tore mine in half and never got reconstructive surgery. They just just the remaining stuff out. My dad tore his in half and never had surgery.
I am sure surgery is in his future but it is possible, maybe not probable that he could wait till after the game to have the operation.
Is that allowed? With the best brace made I could have played football. Heck I did but it kept moving on me and I would hit the ground in pain when it moved on a quick cut. But that was with no brace as I hadn't even been to the doctor yet.

Man, that's unfortunate. I hope he's able to bounce back strong and finds himself in a good situation in the NFL.

His last pass as a Tiger is immortal. Thanks Jarvis
I'm sad to hear Mettenberger is hurt but I'm excited to hear that we'll get to see Jennings get major playing time

quote:sounds like an awful idea to jeopardize a multimillion dollar career by playing through an injury in an exhibition game.

Mett's made the last two years of LSU football fun to watch... glad he ended up here. Now it's Jennings' time to carry the torch.
