I really don't see how you can say Davis is better than Dirk, and CERTAINLY don't agree that Davis and Love are on equal footing

Because players have to play defense half the time.

I don't think that is what this thread was about.

To be fair...this thread was an Anthony Davis circle-jerk taken directly from the place it belongs.

I like Paul George but im not not advocating taking him over Anthony Davis like other people.

He'd be closer to 15 or so than 2 or 3 for me.

Rudy Gay was a similar player at 23(if not better offensively) and look what he has become. He's the laughing stock of the league.

Kobe, CP3, Deron Williams, Dwight Howard, James Harden, Russell Westbrook, Paul George, Roy Hibbert, Dwayne Wade, LaMarcus Aldridge, Kevin Love....

Give me Anthony Davis over all of them.

The guy is averaging 20/11 and 3.6 bpg, has the HIGHEST PER in the league, and this is only his SECOND season.

Easily the best PF in the league, and he has more offensive skills than Dwight Howard. This guy will have the same impact for a team that Tim Duncan did.

You act as if the national media isn't all over AD's nuts or that ever pundit thinks the Saints are a legit contender for the Super Bowl.

Why do you always get your panties in a wad when a fan of a team pimps their player or team? You've been on this board since 2009, seems like you would learn to accept the fact that this happens often.

You're insane...George drastically improved his offensive efficiency, currently gives you 24 points per night, and is an all-NBA caliber defensive player. He is nowhere near Rudy Gay at any stage of his career, nor does he fall outside the top-10 in the NBA let alone near #15.

Link?...I merely stated it was an Anthony Davis fluff-fest, which it is. Not to mention, you decided to coin the phrase "Pistontard" because Drummond was brought up, in what turned into a discussion about young talent in the NBA no less. So, who exactly is rustled here?

Can't really tell that after 11 games.

But if he stays around 46% then yeah he's up there. That's where he should be.

Still Durant has been a 50% shooter the last 2 years, and Lebron is 50%+++. People are wanting to put him on that level. He's not.

And? You're upset Pels fans are throwing his hat into one of the best of the league when every NBA analyst is saying the same thing?

Im not going to search your posts. You are the homer regulator of the MSB.

quote:

I think if these non-Pels fans had the chance to watch Davis play every night, rather than checking a Tuesday morning box score, most of their tunes would change

That can be said about a bunch of young players (i.e. Paul George, Steph Curry, Andre Drummond, Damian Lillard...)

Would anyone but a Piston fan bring up Drummond in this conversation? That was your chance to jump on a homer. I think Drummond is a good, young player with potential but he does not belong in this conversation. He's Deandre Jordan at this point.

If LSU Jazz would have mentioned Derrick Favors or LSU Magic would have mention Vucevic or LSU Cav mentioned Tristan Thompson people would LOL too. When they take the next step, then we can talk

I almost forgot about you saying last year that you would rather have Robin Lopez than Drummond. But I remember.
