All of my Peli-gear comes from B&G. Great selection.

Yeah I got a polo from there.

Got two hats and a jersey at B&G, a hat and t-shirt from Dick's, and another hat online.

Tell them we're all frustrated with Monty Williams and his lack of creativity in the face of diversity!

Yes. Forget meshing New Orleans jazz with basketball, supporting our local musicians, and breaking the mold / doing something completely awesome.

Let's just keep playing the opening strains of a 1984 John Cougar song.

I think we can all agree that I would be great running the soundboard. Too bad I am overqualified for that gig

My idea is to darken the arena like the Lakers do and have the floor lit up and a small jazz band stage lit up (Party Perch).

Have the jazz band play the transition music live and piped around the arena whenever the Pellies have the ball. Have the crowd involvement canned shite when we're on Defense and need a stop.

It would be one of the most unique live presentations in American sports history and would garner critical acclaim from around the sportsworld.

quote:

I was always conscious of the connections' between jazz music and basketball,' NBA Hall of Fame center Kareem Abdul-Jabbar says.

Anyone with knowledge of both basketball and jazz recognizes natural affinities between the two pursuits: a marriage of form and improvisation, of individualism with teamwork; a primacy of rhythm (watch how basketball players dribble the ball before taking foul shots to re-establish a sense of tempo); and a requirement that players respond to one another's choices and to rapidly changing situations in real time.

This is a good idea. Not only will it put more emphasis on the game, it will also downplay the amount of empty seats.

If you think that at this point, you haven't been watching games this season.

Back when the Jazz were in N.O., they had their own jazz band playing at all of the home games.
