1 Good thing that has happened on the Miles Tenure, I don't destroy stuff anymor

In the beginning when Les first got here and LSU played awesome D and just good enough offense. I took losses hard borderline alcohol poisoning loss to auburn 2006, delirium in the loss to kentucky 2007, cussing out dogs in the near loss to tennessee 2008, and tearing up my chandelier in the loss to ole miss 2009. Now when LSU commits the drive killing offsides penalty, or commits a turnover when in position to put away the competition or Benches its best offensive player so the other team has a chance to come back and claim victory(clemson). I just take the loss and move on....I must thank LES for calming me down. My wife, kids and dog aren't as fearful of me on Saturday Nights anymore. Thank you, Les.

How'd you react to an L to UAB? The play of Josh Booty? Marcus Randall/ JaMarcus QB situation in 2004? Just curious.

I'm beginning to get that way. After all it's just a game

I mellowed in 2008 and lost the emotional stake by the time Ole Miss came in to town and won.
I did, however relapse after this year's Ole Miss loss. I completely lost it. Worse than I did as a teenager.

Something tells me you are more curious about the OP's opinion of Saban than anything else. Just because he has been weakened over the course of 9 years of disappointments doesn't automatically mean he worships at the feet of the marvelous midget.

in regards to the the saban era losses, uab loss was bad but in those days i expected those type of losses for LSU, Josh booty and Rohan Davey saga, I thought it was the same frickery when saban couldn't decide between randal and russell, Honestly, I think he quit when the qb position was down JR rs freshman year. A standard was built by 2007 LSU didn't lose to mediocre teams anymore. Its just now when copeland fumbles on the one,,,I expect it,,,bad snap results in turnover on the 26 saw that coming, take out hill and try to surprise them with magee,,,sounds about right.

My most violent outburst as an LSU fan. Complete and utter meltdown. Fortunately I have mellowed a lot since this.

Ole Miss 2009 the shear look of terror on my 4 year old's face changed my life forever.

I mellowed during 2008. The FL game specifically. It's been pretty great actually.

I don't break stuff but the one time I really lost it was (sorry to bring this up and I'm not trying to turn this into one of those threads) on 1/9.
I was so ticked off. I remember watching it with my dad and just looking at him and I simply said, "We looked like hammered sh*t."
And I never talk like that around my dad. I just don't like to.
I was so mad. But I've come close to losing it. Dad lost it last year at the Bama game in that last minute. I had left early (I know, I know) but I took my cousin to her first LSU game and she got so wasted that she was about passed out at halftime. There was no way I could get her back to the truck if she did pass out without making a scene so I had her walk back, the best she could. No pics!
Mom and dad were still watching the game at our tailgate and that last minute, dad almost tore down the tent. "S.O.B. F***, piss, grrrrr, etc."
The next day he apologized for the language.

LSU lost to 2 mediocre teams in 2007. I also don't see how so many people are amazed that we rotate backs. We do it every game. I agree the Hill should have ran more but did you honestly expect him to run all game? Did you think that in this one game of the year we would be different from every other game? Once again I don't agree with his decision to take out hill as much as he does sometimes but that isn't what lost us the game. We got dominated by a much better team. And your OP makes it seem as though LSU never made questionable coaching decisions before Miles. Which is why I asked about those situations. Sorry if I misjudged it.
Edit: I re-read your post and misunderstood your original statement about 2007. Retract the first statement in this post.

Nah, Im not one to cry over the dominance of Saban,,,,I remember that god awful loss to Iowa in the capital one bowl....Saban's myriad of things done to say f*&K u LSU in his outgoing transactions.

Good god you act as though LSU was 1970's BAMA or 80s Nebraska before Miles. Am I ecstatic about 10-2? No, but damn.

That's kind of overdoing it

Questionable RB rotations during the Miles era,,,Running a one legged hester when Charles Scott was killing it all day, Forcing Lee to keep throwing against LA Tech when Keiland Williams had damn near 200 yards in a quarter, Taking hill out of the Clemson game when he was gashing them,,,,taking hill out of the ole miss gameplan after a fumble, Im not saying running hill less was the only reason LSU lost,,but goshdarn u got an all SEC caliber running back and u replace him with a 5'9 210 scat back(no offense to magee),,,,u just scratch your head. When LSU became one dimensional and they could tee off on immobile Mett,,,Game set and match.....

Nah,,,10-2 or 9-3 is expected....8-4 is well disappointing....We kind of all knew all the defensive defections would take LSU backwards. Especially in the secondary. With Texas A and M coming up,,,,and Arkansas(say what u will but those hillbillies have that Ole Miss mentality) they play over their heads when it comes to LSU. It will be a very tell tell look into how Miles has these guys regroup. I expect LSU to be back defensively next year.. Even though I haven't really see anyone emerge along the defensive line or linebacking corps that we can count on....The secondary should be a strength.

Ok man. I give up. You are correct, it had nothing to do with our play on defense or the offensive line. Magee wasn't effective at all in any of his runs. Glad you don't break things anymore.

my kids say the same.....
