If they aren't native to the area I see why they want to take them out.

Nutria
Popcorn trees
Fire ants

Although none of those are as tasty.

That's a baby! I've seen one in E. TX that had a shell almost 3X as long.

I'm not going to pretend to be an expert on the impact of non-native species, are you?

No, I don't care enough to argue about it.

Fin, a good sauce would send them boys running to the bathroom with burning buttholes.

Tell them what the meat is worth and they'll have em hunted out of there in no time.

Non native invasive species are a bitch.

I don't think anybody on this board will argue that wild hogs are not a nuisance.

The turtle was killed using protocols established by the American Veterinary Medical Association. In this case, those are sedating the turtle, then dispatching it with a blow to the head.

love how they always say this shite. Why blow a round of sedation on a reptile just to whack his noggin? But its Oregon, so they probably did do this.

Those of us in Florida would like to add Burmese Pythons and African Rock Pythons.

Peacock bass...now that's just fun.

surely there's a coonass in Oregon who could show them how to make a turtle soup. I hate to think that thing went to waste.
