Is this why the band was talking about bringing back Neck this week?

It happens on just about every college team there is. You just don't hear about it.

Crap, there were 3 guys kicked off the Vanderbilt team just before the season started for alleged rape. I think that's what it was.

Vanderbilt!

Courtney Upshaw did something similar to this at Alabama.

You just don't hear about it so it makes it seem like these problems are exclusive to LSU, which couldn't be further from the truth.

At some point this just becomes laughable. LSU loses to Ole Miss, player gets arrested. Seems like a recurring event with different actors.

Brazil is so talented, was hoping they would be able to coach him up and he would be a major contributor the next few years.

Not sure how many rantards followed him, but this kid could have easily starred on the track team. This kid broke Trindon Holliday's HS record in the 60 meter dash as a fricken junior in HS. Hopefully he gets straightened out because one thing you can't teach in football is world class speed.

Anger management classes could be very helpful.

"why is it always fricking something with discipline on this team?"

This isn't a team issue, this is all on him! If a young man can't look past certain things in life and see that he's got an opportunity for a great education, plus possible making a year or two in the NFL..... then so be it. But the sad part is for some people it's more about the 'respect' which means if this did happen, then i'm sure the woman disrepected him (enter sarcasm).

I have been consistent in each of the arrest threads over the years. Don't judge guilt or innocence until you know all the facts. This kid seems to have anger and judgment problems but could easily be innocent (or have charges dropped, which is not the same but is a reflection of the type of charge this is) in this case. What would you do if he was your kid? Would you believe his story or decide to wait to find out more or refuse to believe him based on past events? Would you want the coach to go fast or take a wait and see position?

A lot of kids with 'anger and judgement' problems are a product of their environment which in itself is not a excuse. What would i do if he were my kids?? Raise him with morales and values.

But i get what you're saying. You're saying that just beause it envolved a football player and a woman, the police automatically arrested him and then will figure it out later. Gotcha.

That depends on a lot of factors, not the least of which is if the victim claims he was choking her. If she does, then the charge will be upgraded to a felony.

The pre-trial conditions for that charge require a lot more than just anger management classes.

The police almost always arrest in cases like this. An arrest doesn't mean that the arrested person is guilty. To me a domestic violence complaint is what it sounds like, but it could be anything from total bullshite to an attempted rape from what has been reported. I just suggested that we wait until all the facts are in before we decide on an appropriate punishment.

Actually, never said he should be treated differently just because he is a football player, just that we should not rush to judgment.
