The police almost always arrest in cases like this. An arrest doesn't mean that the arrested person is guilty. To me a domestic violence complaint is what it sounds like, but it could be anything from total bullshite to an attempted rape from what has been reported. I just suggested that we wait until all the facts are in before we decide on an appropriate punishment.

Actually, never said he should be treated differently just because he is a football player, just that we should not rush to judgment.

Part of the problem is that there is a high percentage of homicides in the state that result from domestic disturbances. Basically, Louisiana does not fool around when a woman reports violence against her by a man. In fact, DA's will not drop charges even if the victim comes forward to do so herself. Evidence is not something that is considered until trial phase or if there is an arraignment followed by a status conference.

All of that notwithstanding, a domestic violence charge is one of the few where the court of public opinion is always the loudest & many times you're presumed guilty right off the bat.

the problem is this: our starting QB was arrested for groping a girl and our starting RB was arrested for a sexual encounter with a 14 year-old. i agree that brazil should be gone, but if he is, he has a hell of an argument to make that he was treated unfairly, relative to his LSU teammates. i have no idea how that would be played out, but it's a really legit argument for him to make.

I wonder if they will dedicate the return of "Neck" to Jeryl Brazil?

I literally spilled my water all over my keyboard reading that.

You take that bullshite somewhere else. My cousin slashed a man and was centimeters from cutting his eye out, I wouldn't fault him at all if he beat her arse. Looking at something over the summer where a girl slashed a boy's throat because he didn't want to go with here. You can let a female get away with hitting and kicking and stabbing and slashing all you want, I'll knock her out if she comes to me with that.

And that's where they get you, equal rights rights and then call foul after you hit back? You'd get your arse whooped fricking with a bunch of drunk girls like that.

Skipped from the first page to the last. Why so many think he is gone and talking so bad about him. What am I missing? He punched the wall, not her. Sounds like he did use restraint?

Not saying he is an angel or won't lose his place on this team but the first incident is one thing... this second one sounds like a bunch of nothing to me.
