You are the ultimate Miles apologist if you can't see that Miles was sticking with Jefferson because he's a hard headed twit. No other coach in America would have left Lee on the bench the second half with the outstanding season he had pre JJ.

Didn't he carry another time, get a first down, then get benched? If he was benched due to the fumble, it should be immediate.

Hill looked like he didn't want to be there. One run, he just did a Fosbury Flop on top of the line for no gain.

So you honestly think Miles didn't do what he felt would give him the best chance to win, just to stick it to the fans and Lee? Again, I agree that Lee should have played but do you REALLY without a doubt think that is the reason why?

He can't talk his way out of this one no matter how hard he tries.

he said they wanted to get his attention. Obviously the guy has some character issues with his past. I dont blame him, you guys ride his dick so hard calling him the best back we ever had.

No, but the point of the comment was that you obviously don't have the slightest clue what the hell you are talking about, so you should probably not bother chiming in. You try to say that Hill isn't effective between the tackles, when in fact, Jeremy Hill is the best RB in the SEC between the tackles.

He's currently the back on the roster that gives us the best chance to win. I don't think there's any debate on this now.

I doubt it since he didn't do that when he got carries again in this game.

It happened to Hilliard last year. Hilliard was having a very good season until the Towson game. He fumbled twice fighting for tough yards, and then tip toed his way around the field the rest of the season... and the first part of this year, to be honest.

I guess next game Hill will quit running hard and simply fall down to protect the ball at the first sign of a defender.

Pretty much did the rest of the game. LSU avg for the game was 3.3 yds per carry.

Sometimes you have to bend your rules if you want your guys to compete. If you'd rather Hill run like a fullback from now on, then bench him for a fumble.

Why didn't he bench Mettenberger? Lord, those 3 throws were pitiful and quite frankly, he should have had 4 INTs, but Landry broke up the INT in the endzone.

At least he was honest.

What else would he have said, by now everyone knows what Miles is about and knew why Hill was limited on reps. No matter what he said the public knew the truth he just confirmed it!!!!

Because Jarrett Lee sucked during that 8-0 run. We won those games due to turnovers and the running game, not the Great White Hope. DWI.

Lee was leading the SEC in passing efficiency through the first 8 games of that season.

I'm sure that had nothing to do with his turf toe injury, he was just scared of fumbling.

You know Hill had 8 of the 9 last rushing attempts in the game, including a TD?
