what will it take to get Welter off the field?...
Why do ya'll hate white players so much?

I can see sitting him out a play or two at most. It was his 1st fumble of his career, and it is absolutely ridiculous to take him out the game for an extended period of time.
You guys are still bitching about this?
He sat for exactly 2 and a half possessions. In that time the running backs ran 4 times for 23 yards (5.75 ypc) and caught one pass for 14 yards.
The drive where he fumbled ended on Mettenberger sack. The next possession was a 1 play drive that resulted in an interception. The next possession we drove into Ole Miss territory but stalled because of a penalty and sack.
Sitting Hill for a total of 8 offensive plays had no effect on the outcome of the game. There's plenty to bitch about this team rather than this non issue.

We ran a lot of plays with him and Landry on the bench with a 1 WR set. Completely stupid
We do this every game. We have multiple running backs we use and Beckham is in on 1 receiver formations.

How many points did we score? How many points did we lose by?
I hate that argument, every possession in football is completely critical unless you are playing Furman.
You give your best playmakers the ball, and you don't punish someone for putting the ball on the ground once in 250+ carries. He could have taken one of those carries to the house. He has 3 games with runs for a 58 yard touchdown, a 69 yard touchdown and a 54 yard touchdown. He's averaged over 5.75 ypc in every game except UGA
If that is what coaches did, Adrian Peterson would be out of the NFL

Way to ignore what actually happened on the possessions.

Ok.

And you blame this on Hill sitting for 8 offensive plays? You know he doesn't play every offensive snap.

So Hill should get every carry.

Adrian Peterson has been sat for series for fumbling before.
We didn't lose because Hill sat for a limited amount of time.
If your view of football and this game is that simple then there really is no point in continuing with this thread. Your opinion won't change and neither will mine.

I'm aware he doesn't play every snap.

within reason, yes. You sit him for breathers, injuries, and 3rd down rotations, not as punishments

maybe he has, but he has had games before the last few years where he fumbled 2-3x and still got the rock over and over again. This was hill's 1st fumble in 250+ carries

absolutely zero way of knowing that

Football is a simple game of inches. You put your best players in the best positions to have a positive outcome. Hundreds of games and many championships have been lost on 1 lost possession, 1 missed tackle, or 1 extra yard

One of the things I don't understand about Les is, you kick a guy in the head outside a bar or sucker punch a guy in the parking lot, and he will put you in at the one to let you score a touchdown. Fumble and it's "do t get your arse off that bench."

Where was hilliard in the second half either? guy was playing the best he has since freshmen year.

Not a big deal since he is the fourth best back on the team.

Really? So Blue didn't sit after he fumbled the first game of the season against TCU?
4th qtr (AFTER Magee already was lighting it up)
2nd and 5 at LSU 6
Alfred Blue rush for no gain, fumbled, recovered by TCU Kevin White at the LSU 6.
Next LSU series:
2nd and 18 at LSU 17
Alfred Blue rush for 3 yards to the LSU 20.

At that point in the game Blue had 69 yards on 16 carries and Magee had 79 yards on 9 carries. BUT BLUE was his boy!

frick les for giving hill only 16 carries in a game he should of had 30!!!! Frick him for saying he sat hill for fumbling when he has never lost a fricking fumble in his career. Frick him for sitting hill when LSU didn't even lose possesion of the ball after the fumble! Sit odell arse down when he fumbles and stop hating on jeremy hill. He the best frickin rb on the team.

Really doesn't make much sense.

Yep that was both of their first plays back. When asked against Tennessee why he put JJ in at the one to score les said something like he wanted to raise his spirits.
I can't make this shite up
