Safeties typically see the field before OL. I can see Hootie on the field ASAP next year. Cam will redshirt.

After all the BS that CR and Shorty have laid on Hootie, I feel sure that the LSU staff will give him every opportunity to see the field early and often to reward him for sticking with the home team.

It's funny you say that JJ. I agree with you in theory, but IMO it's Ed Paris that comes in and starts as a true freshman in our secondary - even ahead of Brown and Hootie.
But seriously, all three of them are ridiculously talented and ready for the bigtime.

The staff really seems to enjoy playing the freshmen that have "the want" and the ability to play early. Hell, it's great for recruiting....come to LSU and play early.Guys realize that they can be making real clean money in 3 years after playing for the Tigers and doing it the right way...Thanks to Les Miles

I for one don't hate Cam Sims. I love the fact that he's occupying a scholarship on Bama's roster.
When he sees the field at Bama hopefully we'll have those guys on our side that we can say locked him down on the regular.

Anyone else find it hilarious how just a short time ago everyone on TD railed saying this staff favored the older guys and never played the freshman?
