I got a bowl of tomatoes from my new neighbor today...

They grow some damn good tomatoes up here in Oregon. I always had trouble growing them in Florida. Looking forward to growing my own next year.

Now what do I do with these?

Those deserve the most modest preparation. Two slices of fresh white bread, Dukes mayo(Blue Plate will work) and S&P. Anything more is doing a disservice to their simplistic beauty.

Crush them up, add some peppers, onions, salt, and herbs, then throw in a jar and ferment for a week, then enjoy the most delicious salsa you've ever had.

i put them in the ice box and, when i'm ready, i quarter them, salt/pepper/vinegar them, and devour them.

i like them crispy and cold

also, i love them on a ham sandwich.
