Made it to the West Regional as the Arizona state champs but fell a few games short of the LLWS. Played against future major leaguers Lou Marson (Cleveland), Darwin Barney, and Matt Tuiasosopo (Detroit) along the way and had Ike Davis on our team.
When it wasn't little league season, our travel ball team kicked the shite out of all the other teams whose parents had to buy their crappy kid's way on to teams.

I did. Went to play over in Germany. Ran a 4.1. From home to home. Retired at 12.

No fricking way, that would have involved taking time off from travel ball.

We made it to back to back to back regionals in the Big league and Senior league age levels of LL. Won state championships my 15, 16, and 17 year old years.
Closest we got to the World Series was a regional semifinal my 16 year old year.

A team from my hometown made the Dixie youth World Series once.

I know a few that were on the '92 South Lake Charles team that played there.
One of my friends on that team was the first person to hit a night time homerun in Williamsport.
(Or at least that is what the legend says)

I played Dixie Youth, when I moved up to Pony I was on a team that played in the Pony League World Series in Middle Valley TN.
My in laws in Jersey are very involved in coaching Little League and I think they have brought a team there but I am not positive, but I know not one person who has played

We didn't have Little League. We had Dixie Ball. I would put the top team from Dixie Youth up against these kids in Little League any day of the week.
