Agreed.
The question is, does Miles punish him for violating his parole, or simply for the fight? If it's for the parole, then it could understandably longer...though I'd have an issue with Miles punishing the kid for violating the terms of his probation for an act he committed before he was LSU's. If it's just for the fight, I just can't see why there would be some long suspension.
I'll agree and say he misses TCU.

He will be slowly worked into the rotation, "earning his spot and carries", like always. He will receive scrub time in game 3, start vs. AU
AU has no good film on him, he rushes for 230

He did go to jail. And no, you wouldnt have to spend serious time in jail for punching someone. Why do you think this?
If he did it in the right part of town, he would have been issued a misdemeanor summons, like the dude who beat up the white family on mothers day.

A curfew of 11pm would also be a good idea. Nothing good every happens at 2am.
Then why not just set the curfew at 2am???

I love reading from the holier-than-thou crowd on this.
I know I might be in the minority here but I am on Hill's side for a couple of reasons.
1. If you get drunk and run your mouth and then get your butt handed to you, accept is as a lesson learned about YOUR self control. Being rich and white drunk doesn't make you bullet proof.
2. You have to know that this wasn't the first time that some frat idiot has tried to start something with Hill (or other athletes for that matter) and was counting on their position as an LSU athlete to protect them from getting a well deseved butt kicking. At some point the target gets fed up and reacts.

That's the American court system. Did you read the article on the OT over the weekend about the 24 yo in Baton Rouge that is finally getting real jail time after his FOURTH DWI charge?

hoping immediate pads given but will not be surprised to see Miles overreact

yeah man. there's plenty of fights that happen where "break it up and go home" is all that happens. that's how it should be, really.
the wrecking ball is back. here's hoping for an AU debut

That's what you read that as?
There's nothing wrong with trying to not surround yourself with bad influences.
