It seems that somewhere in the 1900's, some people began using Mayo instead of cottage cheese. Truth be known, I prefer mayo too.

And guess who made up a batch of these last night and ate every frickn one of them? Uh hun!

Most of it about old memories and nostalgia, which was my point moreso than the dish itself.

I get it. Then you admit this is only tangentially dealing with food.

I like to come in with the torch and brulee the mayo. Adds a nice texture to the dish. FYI.

My MIL makes a variation of that.She uses pineapple,Blue plate,cheese,and cherries.For some reason she thinks it goes with spaghetti.I havent figured that out yet but anyways.
