I hadn't heard anything about this game before...after checking it out, I think I'm going to go get it today.

This is the first game in I don't know how long made we want to start over immediately after finishing it. I would like to see Naughty Dog take on a open world game but I'll settle for top of the line linear games.

I wouldn't say they are the best. They make simple games, but they make them really, really well. Naughty Dog might be the only developer out there who can make a linear game that I will truly enjoy.
They have two teams now, and I think they said TLoU was a one-time deal, so a new IP is a certainty.

I beat uncharted last night so I am ready for Last of Us. It still hasn't been shipped according to ebay.

Naughty Dog is an excellent developer, but at this point they are in the upper echelon of Sony Exclusive developers, which means they get a ton of resources.

I'd never argue their quality. Uncharted 2 was a masterpiece. I haven't tried TLoU, but I will when I get back to the US. I still prefer different types of games, and my Top 5 would reflect that.

I wouldn't say their the best, but they have one of the strongest arguments for any develop this generation. All four games they've released have been very good (selling well and reviewing well).

I definitely thought so, and I think most people would agree with that assessment. They improved on pretty much every aspect of the game.

Yeah, I think so. Uncharted 1 was a good game. Uncharted 2 is a GREAT game, one of the best of this console generation.
If you've played 1 and not 2, definitely pick up 2.
