So whether we're looking to sign him as a SG or a SF is a very huge deal. I really want to know what the plan is.

Gordon's career numbers are better though
That's the reason I'm not a huge fan of trading him before the season though. I want to see what he can do with a full healthy off-season and more talent around him

According to a tweet last night, not sure how accurate it was, Tyreke doesn't want to play SF and won't sign anywhere they want him to play that position for any amount of money

But I think pretty much everyone will agree that a pairing of Tyreke and Iguodala would be a bad one.
Spacing isn't only created by shooting 3s. You just have to be a threat to score, and both Iggy and Evans are legit scoring threats that the defense has to respect unlike Aminu. And while Evans may have only shot 33% from 3, that was a huge improvement for him. If he keeps improving he'll have matched Vasquez in going from bad to passable at 3 pointers. I'm not a huge Evans fan, but I think I see where Demps is trying to go. Defense first and enough versatility on offense that you always have a mismatch somewhere.

Tyreke agrees with me.

That's a 50-50 proposition for me.
I'd like to see what he can do if he's healthy, but at the same time he can only be trotted out there for so long before bad productions or injuries kill most remaining trade possibilities.

Evans and Webster could pair together fairly well.

You cannot possibly argue that that would be a good pairing man. Very similar players in all respects, neither of whom can hit a jumper with any consistency. You'll never sell me on that pair, ever. Don't try.
I could live with Gordon/Evans.

I am a big fan of Evans but if this tweet is true, it'd be a pretty big bummer. I'd have serious concerns about his ability to come in here and be willing to improve his game the way the coaches want.

That seems reasonable and came from a decent source. If we're still linked to Tyreke after today I'd say Demps is planning/hoping to move Gordon.

It could also be that Monty and Dell have been planning on getting rid of him all along. Now is as good a time as any rather than wasting half a season.

I'd rather keep Gordon than have Evans. I'm not thrilled with this.

If they are getting Tyreke at the 2 and moving EG, then they have to get somebody that can knock down a jumper with consistency at the 3, even if its a bench guy that gets a lot of minutes.
Use the savings from Tyreke over Gordon (I assume he'll sign for several million less than Gordon) to get one main guy and then 2 bench guys, like Copeland and Webster.

yet they don't pay attention to any of my RA requests to unsticky certain threads and sticky others.

Yeah like I said last night. I'd be pissed if eg is involved in a sign and trade for Evans.
I could live with signing Evans and sign and trading for iggy,

I'm not saying he'll keep improving, but if he does that changes your argument against him.

EG: 18/2.5/3.3 on 44.3% shooting. Averages 52 games/season. 15.8 PER
TE: 17.5/4.8/4.8 on 44.9% shooting. Averages 64 games/season 16.9 PER
Gordon is a much better 3 pt shooter though, and thus has much better advanced shooting stats than Evans.
I still want to see what a healthy Gordon can do with our current lineup + an SF. However, I wouldn't bitch and moan if we did this and dumped EG.

I can almost guarantee that if they dump Gordon and sign Tyreke that they're going to sign another shooter or two. My opinion at least.
